Sunny		Soleado
The sun is shining.		Hace sol.
It’s sunny.		Está soleado.
I’m so happy because the sun shines!		¡Soy feliz cuando hace sol !
I wish it was sunny and hot!		¡Ojalá hiciera sol y calor!
We had a sunny weather.		Nosotros tuvimos un tiempo soleado.
The weather will be sunny tomorrow.		El tiempo será soleado mañana.
Warm		Calor
It’s warm / hot.		Hace calor. (El agua del mar esta caliente.)
It’s warm in the summer. The summer is warm.		En verano hace calor. El verano es caluroso
It’s getting hot in here!		Aquí empieza a hacer calor.
Normally it’s not this warm in April.		Normalmente no hace tanta calor en Abril
Cold		Frio
It’s cold.		Hace frio.
It’s cold in the winter.		En invierno hace frio.
It was frosty this morning.		Hoy por la mañana estaba helado / había helada..
January was very cold.		Enero es muy frio.
Windy and cloudy		Ventoso y nublado ( cubierto )
Tomorrow it will be windy.		Mañana hará viento.      Mañana hará un día ventoso.
It’s too windy.		Hace demasiado viento.
It’s very windy and cloudy.		Hace mucho viento y esta nublado .
It’s cloudy today.		Hoy esta cubierto / nublado.
It’ll be cloudy tomorrow.		Mañana habrá nubes.  Mañana estará nublado / cubierto.
Rain and fog		Lluvia y niebla
Will it rain tomorrow?		¿Lloverá mañana?
It’s raining.		( Ahora) Llueve.
It rains too much.		Llueve mucho / muchísimo. Llueve demasiado.
It’s going to rain tomorrow.		Mañana lloverá.
It’s foggy.		Está nublado.
There is a beautiful rainbow.		Alli hay un bonito arco iris.
Snow and ice		Nieve y hielo
It’ll snow soon.		Pronto nevará.
It’s snowing.		Nieva.
It’s snowing a lot.		Cae mucha nieve.  Esta nevando mucho.
It will snow tomorrow.		Mañana nevará.
Will it snow tomorrow?		¿Nevará mañana?
There’s frost in the window.		En la ventana hay escarcha.    El cristal de la ventana está escarchado.
It was icy this morning.		Esta mañana había escarcha / hielo.
I fell on ice.		Resbalé en el hielo.
Storm		Tormenta / Tempestad
A storm is coming.		Viene una tormenta / tempestad.
What a snowstorm!		¡Qué ventisca!          ¡Qué tormenta de nieve!
What is a blizzard?		¿Qué es una ventisca?
Have you seen a dust devil (whirlwind)?		¿Has visto una tormenta de arena (torbellino / remolino)?
Hurricanes and typhoons are tropical storms.		Los huracanes y los tifones son tormentas tropicales.
There was a tornado.	Alli hubo una tromba.  Alli hubo un tornado.
It was an awful hailstorm.	Fué una terrible tormenta de granizo.
Thunder and lightnings	Relámpagos, truenos y rayos
A thunderstorm is coming.	Viene una tempestad / tormenta.
It’s thundering.	Hay relámpagos. Hay tormenta. Relampaguea. Tronea.
There are lightnings in the sky.	Se ven rayos en el cielo.
Pollen	Polen
There is pollen in the air.	Hay polen en el aire.
There is lots of pollen in the air.	En el aire hay mucho polen.
The amount of pollen in the air is big.	La cantidad /saturación / de polen en el aire es enorme / muy grande.
There is no pollen in the air.	No hay polen en el aire.    En el aire no hay polen.
